  • is there a way to downgrade camera raw?

    Hi

is there a way to downgrade camera raw?

i update cc camera raw to 9.1 , when i move the sliders (for example exposure) i got an excessive consumption , my cpu rires to 80% or 100%
just move the exposure sliders faster and check your cpu , i use process hacker

with the last 8.9 I haven't this issue

can i downgrade to camera raw 8.9?

    how can i do it?

    thanks

I'm not familiar with process hacker. Does your machine lag when this happens? If not, it's a non-issue.

To answer your question no. When you update photoshop, it's updated. Adobe's only standalone utility of that sort converts to DNG, in which case you'll still need to go through camera raw. You could use lightroom if you like.

Given that it's bundled as part of photoshop, I don't see how you would.

That may not work or may introduce other problems if its load scripts do any kind of validation. I should have specified that I don't know how you would do that in a manner that is actually supported and guaranteed to work. I should add that I initially just thought you were concerned about color handling. Camera raw stores profiles for older versions, which can be accessed from its dropdown profile menu.

I would just uninstall entire CC 2015.

Using Camera Raw - Any Downsides to This?

                    Dear Folks,

When presented with a photo for restoration, are there any downsides to making adjustments first in Adobe Camera Raw (CS6) prior to opening the photo in Photoshop?

                    Thanks to all who respond.

                    Yellow Tint in Camera RAW?
                    by fotogen
I have been using Camera RAW for about a year now and I do like the interface. I do very little to the images in the tool except getting the color balance correct using a gray card.
In my last shoot, I noticed that in Photoshop bridge, the images look fine in terms of color, but soon as I open...

                    Are on-camera histograms trustworthy?
