I think I have fixed the adblock issue. Testing with uBlock Origin, I can now use the links even if it is blocking the Google Analytics script.
If you use some other adblocker and it's still causing the buttons to not work, please report back.

Hi Chain -Turns out that it wasn't an adblocker on Firefox, but built-in tracking protection that was turned on. In the address bar there's a shield icon that, if you click on it, you can turn it off either for the site you're visiting or all sites. Once I turned it off, I was able to use the download button with no problem. You can also add to a whitelist in Options - Privacy & Security - Tracking Protection.

Hi Chain, I just tried to download the Pattern Supressor plugin for mac, but both Download links on the site don't contain the mac files. I also tried to grab it from Adobe Exchange by downloading the Pattern_Suppressor_2.5.0.zxp file, but I'm getting a message that "The extension is damaged or cannot be accessed".

Uberjer: It is most definitely there. Use the main download link, or the mirror, on ft.rognemedia.no. You get a zip-file. Extract the zip-file, and all the files for both Mac and Windows is there (in clearly labelled folders). I just downloaded to check:

            2018-08-05 21_45_44-Window.png

The mac-plugins are the .plugin files (might look like folders). Copy them to your Photoshop plug-ins folder, then restart Ps and load the actions.

Chain, I was able to download the files and get setup with out issue. I did use the same exact links. Perhaps it took a while for the files to propagate through the CDN or something.

AMAZING tool! I find that using Camera Raw Luminance Noice reduction & Masked Sharpening helps smooth things out after the pattern suppression while maintaining needed sharpness in certain areas. Thank you and anyone else who contributed to this tool!

My before and after scanning an art print at 1200dpi...

                Wow, that looks really nice!

You know, the one bad thing about the Pattern Suppressor is that I don't have any images I need to use it on myself... :-D

I have downloaded the FFT files and they are in the correct folders on my computer (Windows 10), according to the instructions. But, they don't show up in my Photoshop filters list. I have Photoshop CS7, and years ago I used these filters in an older version of PS on an older computer. So I wanted to get the filters on my new computer, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they are not showing in the filters list in my current version of Photoshop now even though they show as downloaded to my computer. I've uninstalled and re-installed. If anyone has a clue to help, I would sure appreciate it. Thank you!

                    Diana,
Did you also download and install the libfftw3-3.dll and install in the Photoshop files. Their filename is like Ft3DF.8bf or iFt3DF.8bf. They should show in RONC 2018 in the Filter menu. These plugins are not the same as the older ones. They work for one and they handle 8, 16, and 32 bit per channel data, They work only on an x64 not x32 systems with Photoshop x64. Please review these settings and come back with answers. Did you download the Pattern Suppression action? Does it show in the Action panel? If so will it run? What version of Photoshop?

dianajenna: There is no such thing as CS7. Please check again what version of Photoshop you have.

It must be a 64-bit version of Photoshop, and make sure you installed both the filters and the dll for the correct version of Ps, then restart Photoshop.

I have Photoshop CS5 (I goofed when I said CS7), and it is 64 bit. The libfftw3-3.dll is in the file Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit). The other file names are like Ft2DH.8bf and iFt2DS.8bf not any DF files, though. I put those in the Plug-ins folder. The Pattern Suppression action is in the Actions list, but I don't really know how to use actions. When I used this FFT filter years ago in an older version of PS I don't believe there were Actions with it. (I have instructions on this older FFT from 2008.) So, is it odd that the Pattern Suppression actions DO appear in the Actions, but the FFT does NOT appear in the Filters list? The only filters on the list are the normal default PS filters - nothing else. Btw, I also copied the same FtDH files into the Filters folder along with them also in the Plugins folder. I'm just grasping at straws here, because I can't figure what I did wrong.

The download came from the http://ft.rognemedia.no/ page.

                          Diana,
You have the correct Fourier transform software and installed correctly.

                          Big question is PS CS5.

We tested Cs6 through CC 2018 and they all give same output. I also tested Cs2 because granddaughters have it on old laptops. Cs2 did not work but don't remember much. I know I asked around about what programming would be relative to Cs6 and got no answers. I would speculate it would be a bunch as Cs6 was a big change.

Chain did cs6 tests too but I doubt he has anything older.
I think you should upgrade to some level of CC but don't know an inexpensive way . I've been trying put the Ft plugins into Github so they are available for some time

Not the answer but the Pattern Suppression action makes it automatic almost. Please look at video of how to use it.

The Action did seem to work when I hit Play, but it stops on Filter and the message box pops up which says "The command Filter is not currently available." So I hit Continue and after all the action steps are done the end result is an image that looks like a negative and there is no mask with stars. The mask is simply all white. Oh well, I guess I'm just not able to access the FFT filter with CS5.

                              Diana,
That's good news that the action runs but it can't find the Ft plugins.
Would you look in Filter/RONC 2018/ for Ft3DH or Ft2DH. Please. Also look at Help/Plugins/ for them also. And look at Help/System Info also . You might have wrong place for plugins. There were large changes from cs5 to cs6. More to cc. Adobe has changed the plugin locations recently .
Let me know what you find in those three places.

Do you have both 32x and 64x versions of Photoshop installed? The 32x is in a folder C:/Program Files(x86)/Adobe/Photoshop CS5/ whereas the x64 is in C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS5/. Are you sure that you are looking and executing the x64? Plugins for x64 belong in C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS5/Plug-ins/Filters but you must execute the x64 to see them.

We might find a way for you to use the plugins and action.

The actions require the filters (plugins) to be present.

We have not tested with such an old version of Photoshop so there is the possibility that they are simply not compatible, or that some folders are in new locations.

I will see if I can find an old CS5 installer and test.

                                Edit: CS5 works.

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but since the previous "Virus" thread was posted here, I thought it was best not to change.

I've developed a series of actions that produce effects like some commercial plugins. Because the quality of output compares well (and in some ways surpasses what's already out there,) I think users would be willing to pay for the actions at a fraction of the cost of a plugin alternative.

Perhaps this is very obvious and I'm just missing it, but I'm having issues with my CS3 Photoshop program remembering actions. I have to remake the actions every time my wife switches users (Mac Dual 2.3 G5, non-Intel). I'm not even sure where the actions go when I make the new ones. I have about 5...
