  • Need help with PS action keyboard assignements

I'm in the process of developing a new action template and I have run across several combinations that will not let me assign an action to it. However, when I look through all the actions, none has used up those spots. I tried one of them, Ctrl-F4 and it attempts to close the file I'm working with.

Is there some way to disable that keyboard action so that I can re-use it for something else? I don't even know where to look to do that because it's not listed on my actions pallette as an action. Thanks for your help!

Google for ctrl f4 - lots of hits.

This one has a list of the Windows keyboard shortcuts.

You're dealing with a shortcut that is part of the Windows operating system, not just PS.

I need some help. All of a sudden tonight when I started running my actions in PS, a dialogue box will pop up asking me to click ok to continue running the action. Calling one action from another
      by mark pernal
I'm wondering...is there a way to call one action from another?

I've seen an example of that, but it involved calling one action from another INSIDE the same SET. What I'm wondering is, is there a way to call an action from a different set?

      Thanks.
