  • re automation of ctrl-alt-~

I was so thrilled to see your instructions so quickly, I didn't even read the last line regarding your automating this. That would be awesome!

I played around some with PS6, but if you do have the time to automate, would love to see how you do it. No rush. I'm going to work through the step by step instructions in the book and add in the above instructions to create the action on my own. I'm sure you have a much quicker way (like using the transparent_white portion of your action, and adding the above instructions). I thought about that, but don't want to infringe on any copyright violations.

    Thanks :-)

    Editing Photoshop Actions

I am hoping that someone here can help me figure this out. I have some actions that someone else created, that I would like to alter a little to better suit my needs.

I know that on some steps I can just double click and it will open the appropriate dialog box, which allows me the opportunity...

    Calling one action from another
    by mark pernal
I'm wondering...is there a way to call one action from another?

I've seen an example of that, but it involved calling one action from another INSIDE the same SET. What I'm wondering is, is there a way to call an action from a different set?

    Thanks.

    VG SmudgeCheata action available...
    by VG-vizualgroove
Hey, everybody! I've developed a fairly simple action that allows you to get a start on the smudge paintings that are so popular now. It is written for CS2 but median or dust&scratches could be substituted for smart and surface blur. It works better on large images, say 1800 pixels and up.
