What happened to my Paste Special?

Hi all

I hope someone can throw some light on this matter.

Up until a few weeks ago I used to use the 'paste special' command in Photoshop CS5. Now its grayed out
Any ideas how to fix this?

It's driving me crazy.

Do you have an active selection? Paste Special requires a selection.

Thanks. Yes I did have an active selection. Seems like the problem fixated itself as it is now working again.
But thx all the same. Must have been some kind of glitch in PShop?
