  • Proud new owner of the book

I just purchased the Hidden power of PSE4 from Amazon.com. I have read the first 4 chapters and I am ready to go back and attempt to calibrate my screen and try to separate my RGB color commponents.

Should I install the disk now or is it better to install bit by bit as the book progresses?

I have found the book very well written and explained. I must admitt I really wasn't looking on how to improve colors, contrast everything else the book covers. But, I think I can do it and really improve my abilities on PSE4 with the help of the book.

I bought the book on recomendations from photoshopelementusers.com.

I can't find anything on the website for PSE4. Is the site not updated or am I in the wrong place.

Any suggestions to get started are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Installing the tools is something you do once with the installer -- and it happens in a few seconds, all the tools at once. They don't interfere with resources or cause other trouble, so there is no need to hold back.

I have been working on the update to the site since publishing the book a few months ago -- regretfully other projects keep jumping in the way. I hope to have a massive update done very soon.

Thank you for the kind words...It sounds like you have been a slight inspired, and I think that is just great!

      Thanks

Yep, I know how that goes! (getting behind)

I'll keep a watch on the web site. Meanwhile, I'll work through the book.

      Thanks
