How can I batch process a folder? What I would like to do is run auto levels and contrast.

    Chuck,

Thanks for spelling out your request. I've not tested this solution on anyone yet, so, if you'd like to volunteer (and sign a waiver about releasing my from physical harm and potential damages...kidding), drop me an email and I'll forward a test. The test will work, but it may need some slight adjustment -- so I don't want to make it public.

I'll keep you from hurting anything. And I'll get you your solution.

      Batch Processing!

I've tried repeatedly to post on the Adobe forum in response to a user looking to do batch processing (April 16th). All you are getting is lies from the moderators, and the censurship is ridiculous -- unless they are set on only deleting my posts.

Here are some common applications of the File > Automate > Batch dialog:

      * Converting images from one file format to another, e.g.,.jpg to .tif or one color space to another, e.g., RGB to CMYK

      * Changing image size and/or resolution for, say, a web gallery

Can anyone recommend a good program to batch convert a set of .eps image to .jpg images. There is a need to customize some of the parameters with the batch conversion.

      Batch process won't close files?
      by michaelbs
When I batch process from within Photoshop or with Dr. Browns 1-2-3 service and I use a large batch (eg. 200 images) then the files stay open i Photoshop causing the processing to run slower and slower.
I end up with saved and processed PSD files in the folder of my choice but all the files...
