Re: Another retouch from me
Good effort with the hair, seems to have lost a little sharpness though. Personally i think the patch where her hair meets her 4 head looks like it needs work, matches the original mostly but looks wrong in the original too. You've reshaped her nose but i think...

Re: New Retouch from me!!
I forgot to Thank stormyboy too. I took your comments on board also, and they definitely helped me! Skin of original image came out too smooth and the amount of sharpening needed to make it look the least bit sharp enough, resulted in a slightly pixelated look....

Re: Creating Catch Lights ?
Thanks for replying Mike. As a catch light is a reflection upon a shiny smooth surface, i think i will just experiment with taking different images of reflections. Or just take a closeup of my eyes, trying to get different variations of catch lights, then i...

Anyone know of a tutorial for creating catch lights from scratch, without having to beg borrow or steal them from another image ?

Especially after seeing someone else comment about skin smoothness i have to agree and on your other points too.
How does one go about making skin less smooth ? when the original is even smoother ?
Edit: I think fixing the greasy highlights...Last edited by Michael_Anthony; 08-20-2013, 06:14 PM.

Re: *HELP* HOW to? Exposure your work?!?
Don't want to start anything here just that comments like this without explaining why i think can be a bit mean!. "Frankly I don't think you're ready yet to get commercial assignments from magazines or brands" <--- why is that ?...

Re: New Retouch from me!!
Thanks Skoobey. This is actually less smooth than the original, maybe i can put the original up tomorrow. No blurring anything has been used. Only dodge and burn plus sharpening! any smoothing of the skin (if it has gotten smoother than the original must have...

Re: Critique for a new work.
Depends what it's for i guess. I personally like the image. If it's for a client advertising hair care then obviously there's a lot of work to be done, maybe some dodge and burning especially on the body but again depends how far you want to take it, you have...
