Thanks a lot, Tulack. I found the remote icon in with the self-timer menu. Didn't say remote but the icon was explanatory once I knew what I was looking for. So simple yet it was a mystery to me.

Remote control
I have a ML-L3 remote control for a Nikon P900 camera.
There is no way that I can make it work the shutter.
Is there a way to check the controller is working? The battery is fully charged.
Is there a technique required to set the camera ready as in the self-timer section?

Thank you, Tony W, I feared that. My older cameras don't Have RAW settings and I've recently bought a Nikon P900 for it's long telescopic range for nature shots. As I won't be selling professionally I'll let Raw go for a while. But I manipulate with Elements so might get...

OK, I keep reading about shooting in RAW. What do I need to shoot in RAW/ Do I need a special camera or program to transfer from a camera. I understand the value of RAW files over JPEG for manipulating.

Photoshop from Elements 11
Can someone tell latest version of Photoshop. there are CC versions which I think are cloud use and do they require internet connection. And are CS versions on the computer and don't need internet connections. Or is Elements 11 good enough without upgrading to a full photoshop ???
