I have Live Picture an an older mac that is sitting in my closet. I mentioned that app to a programmer on Reddit, but when he did a search he found NOTHING on Google. That's very odd considering it wasn't that long ago. Am I paranoid to think that Adobe has paid to have Live Picture removed from Go...

The Art of Dodge & Burn – Images Disc
I was cleaning house and came across this dvd that a former co-worker gave me. It is the tutorial disc but doesn't include the images. He passed away years ago so I don't know if he ever had the 2nd disc, and this product is no longer for sale. Would anyone by chance have this in their collection?

Re: Colorization
I'm curious if anyone has experimented with improving the Saturation Mask.

Re: The story of Curves in Photoshop
I'll be sure to take him off my x-mas list. I have an action from PS CS3 that lets me use ALL the old shortcuts, but once I close that curve it resorts back to the 'new' way that everyone dislikes....

In cases like this it helps to know what size the image is placed in the layout. I will then scale the image in photoshop (so it gets placed @ actual size) and do some type of blurring on the problem areas. It would help immensely if you had a copy...

Re: how to create a repetitive pattern like that?

Re: need raw files for practice
Hasselblad has some raw files on their site, can't recall if they have any stipulations on retouching them for personal use.

Re: Automotive Paint Retouch
I've done that in the past to get rid of banding. Basically it was just making gradients and masking different parts of the car.

Re: Photoshop CS6 New Features
That would be ideal but they cant leave the interface alone, doesn't make sense to me....

Re: Photoshop CS6 New Features
I just saw the interface and it reminds me of Live Picture. I'm curious to see if they restored the keyboard shortcuts for curves back to CS3 which were VERY well thought out btw.

Re: Where is the new Mac Pro
The rumor is that Apple will drop the Mac Pro line which doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Re: a rant about the de-valuing of our trade
You could also blame outsourcing for the drop in value. When i was interviewing with a very large US printer i was told they had 250 employees in India doing just photoshop work for them.
