hi everyone, I found these photos last week. One of them is my mothers only childhood photo, and the other one is my grandfather and grandmothers only photo I could find :/ anyway I never tried restoring before maybe someone could point me to a good beginner tutorial. thanks...

thanks all for your input, I'll try a little more with that pic. oh and about the neck, I cant even the distracting color with her skin color, I tried neutral layer paingting and curves.. but with no success.

Played around while i was bored and ended with this.. not sure if it camed out good.
would like to know what you people thing about it.

i like the result, maybe a little color adjustments as mentioned before but everyones taste is different. anyway I wanted to ask something (seems to be right place to ask are there other ways to add the details (skin texture) back except highpass filter?
