Re: How to reduce PS file size (old trick)?
Thanks for the fast reply. That was very interesting as it stripped a 234,000K file down to 220,000K. The "File save & reopen trick" I want to find cuts the file to half or less of its bloated size. Does anyone else know?

How to reduce PS file size (old trick)?
Can anyone remember the old PhotoShop 6 (undocumented) trick to reduce file size? It was something very quick, easy, clever, and simple like saving the file with a different name, creating a new filename, and reopening it. (But, of course, that is not it.) Suddenly, the overgrown file would be rid...

Need a "Previewer" for PSD and TIFF files
I am looking for something to make searches on my own PC easier. Can anyone recommend software that will preview quickly graphic file images (PSD and TIFF) without opening them, giving a large-size look similar to the Preview slide show feature that Windows offers when one highlights a list of JPG...

Re: Do you recognize the Author of this Masterpiec
Thanks. I have been all over RTP and the web since reading your posts this morning looking for clues on how to do an Edge Layer. Most confusing of all is how to make it transparent so that the BuZZ3 color layer shows through. Can someone...

Re: Do you recognize the Author of this Masterpiec
I thought that I did add the attachment using Manage Attachments in the last post, but perhaps it got swallowed up into the ether. I hope that this one does not. Strangely, this time the preview does not show the attachment. Last time...

Do you recognize the Author of this Masterpiece?
New to the digital art world, about a year ago I was awed by the attached image as a SUPERB example, and saved it (from RTP, I think) as a reminder to revisit the web page--foolishly, without any identifying data. Does anyone recognize the artist or artwork? I would like to locate the work online...Last edited by Lucile Davis; 04-14-2009, 07:06 PM.

Thanks for your suggestions. Topaz Simplify is good, but is missing certain BuZZ features.
I followed advice given by Danny Raphael elsewhere on the forums to check out eBay, Craigslist, & DigtalNuts. Indeed, many...

BuZZ compatability question
Just wondering... BuZZ1.X was distributed free way back when. Then out came Buzz Lite, BuZZ.Pro2 and BuZZ.Pro3. What versions (if any) are compatible with PhotoShop CS3 and higher?

Video Editor freeware suggestions?
Hi,
With my apologies in advance. This is pushing the outer limits of the RetouchPro forum, ... but since so many of you are knowledgeable beyond the still format, please share if you have a suggestion.
My Nikon 3700 takes Quicktime .MOV files that I'd like to combine...

When one scans anything (photo, film, transparency), intending to work on it in PhotoShop, what bit to choose?
