I've been trying different types of things such as trying to take some parts of other
photo's and replacing the very damaged area's.The photo is damaged badly and would
like to restore it as close as possible to the original image. I've deleted...

Does anyone have any idea's what migth be done to save this photo?

Chillin, this is simply amazing. This is a talent I can't even come close to.
As I stated in the thread, I can colorize using curves, touchup cracks,
by using the healing tool and the clone stamp tool. I use some other
adjustments also....

'd be very tempted on this one to 'cheat'. and by cheat i mean take something from another image and clone it in over this one. in particular, the hair. it's unlikely you're going to bring out very much detail there and it needs it.
