Re: Need your opinion on my latest retouch
I find the picture and edit interesting. The skin almost has a soft sharpness. But due to the skins soft appearance, the necklace may be too sharp.

Re: How to archieve this fashion swimsuit look?
This could have been done all in lightroom. Using split toneing you can apply the green or whatever color to the hilights and shadows. Then use the blacks slider and contrast for the deep contrast look. Lastly use the brush to bring out...

Re: How to achieve this effect?
This sepia is more advanced than a normal color shift. It lifts the blacks and crushes the highlights. This means that the deepest blacks and brightest highlights are not maxed out. It also does a color shift of the shadows to a blue tone.

Re: How to achieve this effect?
I agree with lkroll about shooting high key.
- Start with a good quality image, and shot with a large aperture to blur out the background.
- Shoot a high key style image. Slightly Warm tone white balance.
- Sharpen, but not to much.

Re: Yours ideas for retouching my photo
Here is my version of the raw file. Didnt do any cleaning, the legs might need some, as it was a concept problem.
Enjoy,
Hope it helps,

Re: Anybody needs photo´s to retouch ?? ;-)
To be honest yes, but most (90%) of the smoothness is from the brightness. the skin smoothing didnt destroy the skin texture. below shows the skin (100% crop) after the smoothing.
Always up for a crit...

Re: Anybody needs photo´s to retouch ?? ;-)
Here is what I came up with. The one I had the most trouble with is the up and down family one. The tones and light quality was not too good, especially on the father.
My favorite was the little girl, so cute and those big eyes....

Re: The demystification of dave hill! let's all he
nmeunier,
You may not want to do your contrast totally in Lr. Your shadow/highlight transitions have an orange discoloration.
The original's quality is superb, and was kind of destroyed with the over editing....
