    Everyone here will be very nice to you. You can be sure of that. You may want to play with some of the layer styles or the sepia action in the actions tab. Yu can also play with hue/saturation and levels, until you achieve what you like.

    When you are in the red green or blue channel, choose select/all from the file menu, then edit/copy. Go to the channel you will to replace and choose edit/paste.
